More icicles…..

These are a few more icicle photos from January 13th.

These were dripping so much that it sounded like rain.

Some were dripping down and had re-frozen on the hosta stalks below:

January 13th, 2010

Today, January 13th, 2010 was the first day this calendar year that it was above freezing here.

The temperature might have sneaked above the freezing line, but there were still icicles everywhere.

But with the sun finally shining bright, I took the opportunity to photograph some of them in the light.
